Working with digital cameras, our video journalists employ a documentary approach and will not ask you to pose or create an unnatural event. Always discreet, we believe that a subtle presence is what is required for capturing successful footage. Our shooters always dress professionally and seemingly take their position within the background of your event while documenting everything that happens at the forefront.

Although we use a documentary approach when capturing your story, dolce video embraces a cinematic approach when bringing it to your screen. Montages and live footage are combined, resulting in a video that is artistic and tasteful while keeping your project, your story, as the main focus.

Cameras:
At dolce video, we use high-end 3 CCD digital broadcast-quality cameras and have chosen models that are sleeker and less obtrusive, so we aren't the focus of attention at your event.

We shoot using battery packs and tripods, which allow us to be mobile and to not have cords and cables stretched out across the floor. Using a photojournalistic technique, we open our exposure to allow more light into the lens rather than use large lights which can distract your guests.

Packages:
dolce video strives to offer every bride a coverage option, which is why we offer flexibility in our packages. For our minimalists, we offer raw footage coverage, but we meet every need in the middle and up to our bride who wishes to have her whole day immortalized from start to finish, with beautiful sound, elegant editing and a tasteful finished video her friends and family will enjoy with her.

A dolce video captures your moment and tells your story, so it should also reflect your tastes. You control the level of coverage at your event and you are invited to submit you special instructions, requests, music selections and even your honeymoon photos for your edited video.

If you have champagne tastes and a beer budget, this is the package for you!  The maybe later package tapes your event, gives you the raw footage and lets you choose to come back for an edit at a later time.

The solitaire package gets it all done tastefully without a lot of gimmicks; one camera shoots your event and you get an edited video.

For equal coverage of the bride and groom, opt for the double camera duo: two cameras, two shooters, an edited video, and a copy of your raw footage.

If you would like all the bells and whistles, the signature series is the haute couture of video journalism! You get multiple day coverage, 3 camera coverage options, upgraded sound, 2 different edited videos covering your events and a copy of all the raw footage we filmed.

Finally, the raincheck special lets you submit your raw footage to us for editing if you happen to change your mind or wish to upgrade your package after the Big Day.
